Tomorrow is another wedding. Me and co-photographer Melissa Daughters (MKDaughters Studios) are teaming up for a wedding with a marine as a groom.

It's only our second wedding and we are a great team. She is a far superior photographer than I and in no time she will be booked solid but working with her has been great and I have learned a lot.

Here's hoping tomorrow goes well.

Stairway to Heaven

I have received a lot of positive feedback about this photo. It has struck a cord with many and I'm really touched. Really. Sadly this was taken with my cell phone so the ability to blow it up is limited. Just the idea that someone wants to hang this on their wall is amazing to me. Thank you, everyone. You have made my day.

Essence of Bellingham

It's that time of year again, time to submit photos that represent Bellingham.

For the 2010 contest I submitted 8 photos. This year I got an "honorable mention" on the following photos:




This photo was taken on the way to work. I was late trying to get this picture but the rain and the colors madebit worth it.



This photo I discovered one day when backing out of the parking lot at Hovander Park. I realized that some if the most beautiful photos were right behind me. Occassionally I try this angle and thus time it worked. Fun fact: the original photo contained a street sign which I photoshopped out.
