Autumn is my favorite season. I love the rain (living here, it's sort of a requirement). It's football season, I love being able to stay indoors in my favorite sweatshirt and just relaxing. It's also beautiful outside. Every where I go I see beautiful trees whose leaves are changing.
I went out on my lunch break yesterday to try and capture some of that beauty. Because I only had an hour, I wasn't able to find much in the location I went to. But on my way back to my car, I came across this rock and stick debris area and in the middle were scattered leaves with droplets of water on them, so I snapped this picture.
Had I not been in work clothes I probably would have laid on the ground and gotten closer. I love how, in the pouring rain, the water just rested in cool droplets on the bright red leaf (this was the underside).
